Discussion

July closed out with a warm and moderately humid day and ends up with above normal temperatures (+3.8 degrees) for the month along with slightly drier-than-normal conditions although there has been a decent amount of rainfall in recent days. A frontal system today brings us the threat for late day and evening showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms can be quite strong. A break in the action tomorrow ahead of the next front which can bring more showers and storms our way late Tuesday night and on Wednesday. Yet another front poses potential problems for the weekend as another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible to begin the weekend.
