Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mostly cloudy with showers through the morning and possibly a thunderstorm mixed in, another shower or two possible this afternoon, highs in the mid 70’s

Mostly cloudy, chance for a couple more evening showers, some fog possible late, lows near 60

Clouds and limited sunshine, milder, chance for a couple of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, highs near 80

Mostly cloudy, humid, showers and thunderstorms likely, highs in the near 80

Mostly cloudy, still unsettled with showers and thunderstorms likely, highs in the mid-to-upper 70’s

Mostly cloudy, still the chance for a couple of showers, low 70’s

Partly sunny, still the chance for a shower, near 75 for highs

Showers this morning will began an unsettled period of weather for us in the District region as a frontal system moves in from the west and stalls along the east coast. After another day with slightly below normal temperatures on Tuesday, highs will approach more seasonal values on Wednesday and Thursday reaching near 80 degrees on both days. By later in the week, the showers and thunderstorms could come down hard at times as low pressure will likely develop along the stalled out frontal system and ride along it from south-to-north. The upper air pattern is setting us in such a manner by later in the week to allow for the possibility that this unsettled weather sticks around this weekend as well.
