7:15 AM | Significant mid-week rain event

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mostly sunny despite some high clouds, warm, low 80’s

Partly cloudy, cool, mid 50’s

Partly sunny, pleasant, mid-to-upper 70’s; showers possible late at night

Cloudy, breezy and cooler with rain, heavy at times, possibly a thunderstorm mixed in, upper 60’s

Mostly cloudy, cool, showers likely, low 70’s

Mostly cloudy, cool, showers still possible, near 70

Mostly sunny, cool, mid 60’s

High pressure will continue to control our weather through Tuesday, but then a significant rain event is likely on Wednesday and more showers are likely on Thursday and Friday as well. A storm is currently gathering strength over northern Florida and it will spread rain up the east coast by Wednesday and it has the potential to produce 1-3 inches throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Once the storm passes by to the north, we’ll have to deal with another frontal system on Thursday and Friday and we may not get genuine clearing until the weekend.
