Discussion

The Saturday historic coastal storm that caused more than 2 million people to lose power and unprecedented October snowfall in many locations is now long gone and another storm will ride up the east coast early Tuesday, but it will stay well off the coast only to throw some clouds our way and maybe a litlle bit of rain. There will be a general warming trend this week and we should be close to 60 degrees by Wednesday for highs (normal high is 64). In fact, it looks to me like after the relatively cool start to November this week, the 2nd week of November looks quite a bit warmer-than-normal. As far as the weekend storm is concerned, here is a smattering of county-by-county snow reports reported to the NWS for the local area:
