Becoming mostly clear, brisk and cold, near 30

Mostly sunny, breezy, cold, mid-to-upper 40’s

Partly sunny, a bit milder, mid 50’s

Mainly cloudy, mild, low 60’s

Mainly cloudy, showers possible, mid-to-upper 50’s

Mostly cloudy, cool, low-to-mid 50’s

A second wave of low pressure will ride along a cold frontal system early today extending our period of unsettled weather, and it’ll be noticeably colder than recent days. Temperatures will drop slowly through the 40's during the day and the occasional light rain could even mix with snow north and west of the city before ending later today. Mainly clear skies tonight will allow for temperatures to drop to near 30 in many spots and the cold weather will continue on Friday with temperatures no better than the mid-to-upper 40’s for highs. High pressure, however, will then slip off the east coast on Saturday and this will allow for a warming trend to begin as winds will shift around to a southwesterly direction. In fact, temperatures by Sunday afternoon will once again flirt with the 60 degree mark.
