7:15 AM | Rain event on Tuesday leads to seasonably colder pattern for remainder of week

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

More clouds than sun, still unseasonably mild, near 70 (normal high is 54 degrees)

Mostly cloudy, mild, maybe a shower late, low-to-mid 50’s

Cloudy with rain likely; especially during the afternoon and early evening hours, mild, near 60

Lots of clouds, breezy, colder, maybe another shower or two, near 50

Mostly sunny, cool, near 50

Mostly sunny, still cool, upper 40’s

Mostly sunny, even colder, mid 40’s

High pressure will control our weather for another day, but then a slow-moving cold front will combine with a strong upper level system to spread steady rain our way on Tuesday. This rain event will likely drop between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rainfall around here and will be followed by an intrusion of seasonably colder air for the middle and latter portions of next week. Highs will be much closer to normal during the second half of the week as compared with the 60’s that we are experiencing to begin the week.
