Discussion

A quiet weather pattern is shaping up for the next several days and it will allow for substantial drying after the recent soaking rains. A weak cold front will drop through the region tonight and this will pave the way for a dry, but cold weekend. High pressure builds into the region this weekend from the middle of the country and it will control our weather right through the middle of next week. The next shot at any rainfall looks like it will come during the second half of next week at which time a storm likely pulls out of the Southern Plains and head towards the East.
