3:00 PM | More on the Christmas weekend threat

Paul Dorian

A very active weather pattern is setting up that could produce a series of storms for the Mid-Atlantic between the middle of this week and the middle of next week. One such storm will spread rain our way on Wednesday and then a second storm could throw some more rain our way on Friday. Yet another storm threatens the Mid-Atlantic region later Saturday into Sunday (Christmas Eve/Christmas Day), but it is too early to say if it’ll be cold enough for snow in the I-95 corridor for that storm or if snow would just be confined to interior locations. Finally, yet another storm threatens a day or two later by the middle of next week - so stay tuned over the next few days as more details get ironed out.
