Discussion

A significant warm up begins today and continues on Thursday, but then a cool front will slip through the region by early Friday cooling us down to end the work week and to start the weekend. Temperatures will approach 65 degrees today and will touch 70 degrees on Thursday, but will return to closer to normal on Friday and Saturday. The cool front will likely have some showers accompanying it tomorrow night, but then drier air returns later Friday and lasts through the weekend. By Sunday, another warming trend will begin here in the Mid-Atlantic region and much of next week looks quite warm throughout a good part of the country.
