Saturday Night

Mainly cloudy, cool, breezy, showers likely, low 50’s

Becoming partly sunny, a tad milder, upper 50’s

Mostly sunny, windy, colder, near 50

Partly sunny, milder, upper 50’s

Possible record-breaking warmth today, but this will be very likely be the last time temperatures reach these lofty levels for quite awhile and the 30's are probable here for lows Monday night and Tuesday night. Today's early morning low clouds and fog will give way once again to sunshine and very warm conditions this afternoon, but the overall weather pattern will change noticeably this weekend. Showers are likely on Saturday as a cooling trend begins, and more showers are likely on Sunday as well as a storm develops along the east coast. It is probable that, at some point during the weekend, the rain falls quite heavily which has not happened here in many days. Temperatures on Saturday will struggle to reach 60 degrees and then will be confined to the low 50’s on Sunday thanks to a strengthening ocean flow of air. It’ll turn slightly milder on Monday, but then a strong cold front will pass through by Monday night and it’ll usher in some of the coolest, Canadian air that we’ve had in awhile around here in the Mid-Atlantic. In fact, temperatures on Tuesday will be confined to near 50 degrees along with a stiff cool NW breeze.
