7:15 AM | Possible weekend coastal storm which could bring us significant rain

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mostly sunny, breezy, still warm, but not quite like yesterday, low-to-mid 70’s

Partly cloudy, breezy, cool, mid-to-upper 40’s

Partly sunny, a bit cooler, maybe a couple of showers late, low 60’s

Wednesday Night

Mostly cloudy, cool, upper 40’s

Mainly sunny, breezy, near 70

Mostly sunny, mild, low 70’s

Mostly cloudy, cooler, showers possible late, upper 60’s

Mostly cloudy, the threat for rain, cooler, breezy, low 60’s

Our taste of summer has come and gone, however, today will still be well above normal as temperatures should climb to the low-to-mid 70’s despite a weak cold frontal passage. Wednesday will see high temperatures take another step down with highs probably holding in the low 60’s with partly sunny skies. Another front will cross through the area by the weekend and it appears as if a significant storm will then develop in the Southeast US by the latter part of the weekend. In fact, this storm could produce the first significant rain that we’ve had around here in several weeks by the late weekend.
