Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Clouds give way to sunshine, not as cool as yesterday, near 70

Partly cloudy, chilly, near 50

Mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 70’s

Friday Night

Becoming mostly cloudy, not as cool as Thursday night, mid 50’s

Mostly cloudy, still mild, showers and thunderstorms likely, mid 70's

Cloudy with occasional showers, maybe even a thunderstorm, cooler, low 60’s

Mostly cloudy, windy, even cooler, showers still likely, near 60

Partly sunny, still cool, breezy, upper 50’s

High pressure will build into the region today and sunshine should return along with pleasant conditions. More sunshine is likely on Friday and high temperatures should reach the low 70’s. A cold front will then approach the region on Saturday and there can be showers and thunderstorms associated with that frontal passage during the afternoon hours. By Sunday, a strong storm will be gathering strength in the Southeast US and this will bring us significant rain to close out the weekend. This strong storm will ride up the east coast late Sunday and Monday and will flood the Northeast US with chilly air by early next week and the higher elevations from Pennsylvania north and east could actually see some snow out of this event.
