Discussion

"Unsettled and cool" will summarize the weather for much of the new week with a daily threat for showers and thunderstorms although most of the time will be rain-free. A low in the upper atmosphere will spin around off of the New England coastline over the next few days and this trough will spin disturbances our way right through Friday. There is potential for high pressure to take over for the weekend reducing our rain threat on those days and allowing for warmer conditions to develop.
