7:00 AM | Not as hot today and even cooler tomorrow; threat for showers continues into late Friday

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

More clouds than sun, not nearly as hot, still the chance for showers and maybe a thunderstorm although most of the time will be rain-free, highs in the low-to-mid 80’s

Chance for showers and thunderstorms, mild, near 70 degrees for lows

Mostly cloudy, even cooler, showers likely and maybe a thunderstorm, low-to-mid 70’s

Friday Night

Chance for evening showers, cool, low 60’s

Becoming partly sunny, comfortable, upper 70's

Mostly sunny, comfortable, low 80's

Partly sunny, warmer, maybe a shower or thunderstorm, upper 80’s

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

The cool front that helped to generate showers and thunderstorms last night has stalled just to our south and waves of low pressure will ride along that boundary zone over the next couple of days. As a result, our chances for showers will continue right into tomorrow night and temperatures will trend dwonward. In fact, an ocean flow of air is likely to set up tomorrow as low pressure moves to our south and highs could hold in the 70's both tomorrow and Saturday. High pressure gradually takes control on Saturday and less humid air will move into the region setting us up for an even nicer day on Sunday.
