3:30 PM | Threat continues for more heavy showers and strong storms

Paul Dorian

Discussion

An unsettled weather pattern will continue here right through much of tomorrow with the possibility for more showers and thunderstorms. There is one batch of heavy showers and strong thunderstorms right now moving very slowly northeastward from central Delaware and this area could affect parts of the region (Delaware County, Philly, eastern sections of Bucks, Montgomery and Chester Counties) over the next couple of hours. Meanwhile, more showers and thunderstorms are scattered across central and western Pennsylvania and they can affect any part of the Philly metro region later tonight and tomorrow. Any storm can produce heavy rainfall as was the case this morning when a quick inch or more of rainfall accumulated in many spots across southeastern PA. Much nicer weather is in store for Thursday.
