Discussion
A weak cool front will approach the Mid-Atlantic region today from the Great Lakes and it will generate scattered afternoon showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two. This front will then slip just to our south by early tomorrow as weak high pressure tries to build in from the Midwest, but the front will stall out and this action will lead to unsettled weather around here for the late week and weekend. Low pressures are likely to ride along the stalled out front late this week and weekend keeping us cool and occasionally wet.
