7:00 AM | Mild today and very mild this weekend; wheels are turning for a change back to cold late next week

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mostly clear, cold, lows near 30 degrees

Mostly sunny, not quite as mild, but still above normal, upper 40’s

Thursday Night

Becoming cloudy, not as cold as recent nights, mid-to-upper 30’s

Mostly cloudy, damp, cool, light rain or drizzle possible, mid-to-upper 40’s

Partly sunny, unseasonably mild, mid-to-upper 50’s

Mostly cloudy, unseasonably mild, mid-to-upper 50’s

Mostly cloudy, still unseasonably mild with a chance of showers, low 50's

Temperatures will approach, and possibly even surpass, 50 degrees this afternoon as a cool front works its way through the region and it’ll be slightly cooler on Thursday and Friday. A warm front will approach the region tomorrow night and then Friday should feature a little light rain or drizzle with cool, damp conditions. By the weekend, temperatures will be off to the races climbing through the 50's on Saturday and Sunday as the peak of this mild spell occurs in the Mid-Atlantic region. It'll stay mild early next week, but signs point to a dramatic cool down here by the latter part of next week.
