Weather forecasting and analysis, space and historic events, climate information

7:00 AM | Tranquil through the weekend, but potential big changes early-to-middle of next week

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mainly sunny, cool, highs in the upper 50’s

Mostly clear, cold, lows by morning in the mid-to-upper 30’s

Mostly sunny, seasonably cool, low 60’s

Friday Night

Mainly clear, chilly, upper 30’s

Mostly sunny, still seasonably cool, low 60’s

Partly sunny, cool, mid 60’s

Partly sunny, colder, low-to-mid 50’s

Mainly cloudy, cold, snow showers are possible, upper 30’s

The next few days look rather dry, tranquil and uneventful – but all of that could change early next week. A vigorous upper level trough of low pressure will move out of Canada and into the interior west early next week and the result here could turn out to be much colder and perhaps snowy conditions. Before we get to that point, seasonably cool weather will prevail late this week and weekend in the region.
