Discussion

We’ve been somewhat protected in recent days by large upper level ridging across the western states, but that pattern is breaking down and weak disturbances will be affecting the region over the next few days. Later in the weekend, however, there is the chance for a more substantial snow threat as colder air heads towards the region.
