7:00 AM | Occasional rain or drizzle continues through tonight, but an approaching cold front will sweep the moisture to our east early Saturday paving the way for a decent weekend; another significant rain event is likely later Monday and Monday night

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Cloudy, breezy and cooler with occasional rain or drizzle, highs near 50 degrees

Mostly cloudy, chilly, more rain likely, lows in the low 40’s

Clouds early then becoming partly-to-mostly sunny, breezy and milder, near 60

Saturday Night

Partly cloudy, cold, low 30’s

Mainly sunny, mild, upper 50’s

Mainly cloudy, mild, periods of rain developing during the mid-day or afternoon hours, near 60

Mainly cloudy, breezy, cooler, chance for a couple of showers, mid-to-upper 50’s

Partly sunny, cool, mid 50’s

Last night’s batch of steady rainfall will move off to our east this morning and the precipitation will tend to slacken off during the mid-day hours; however, an approaching cold frontal system will renew the threat for occasional showers later today and early tonight and there is an outside chance that a thunderstorm mixes into the picture. Once this cold front clears the east coast early on Saturday, a clearing trend will set in with noticeable improvement for Saturday afternoon and then Sunday promises to be quite a nice day for this time of year to close out the weekend. That break in the action won’t last too long; however, as another moisture-laden system will arrive later Monday with significant rainfall possible that jeopardizes the Phillies afternoon home opener (3PM).
