Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Mostly cloudy, a bit cooler than yesterday, humid, chance for showers, highs in the upper 70’s

Mainly cloudy, cool, chance for showers, lows in the low-to-mid 60’s

Mostly cloudy skies, quite cool, still the chance for showers, mid-to-upper 70’s

Saturday Night

Partly cloudy, cool, low 60’s

Mostly sunny, still quite cool, mid 70’s

Mostly sunny, cool, near 80

Mainly sunny, pleasant, near 80

Mostly sunny, nice, low 80’s

Unsettled weather will continue today in the NYC metro region with scattered showers possible as additional upstream moisture rides along a frontal boundary zone. Cooler weather is in store for the weekend as strong Canadian high pressure will build southward into the area. Once this high takes control of the weather pattern, a persistent low-level flow of air will develop from the east-to-northeast. Temperatures will generally hold in the 70’s for highs this weekend and into the early part of next – well below normal for this time of year.
