7:00 AM | Rain moves in this afternoon and continues this evening...spring fever alert for Wednesday afternoon with 60 degrees possible

Paul Dorian

6-Day Philly Forecast

Becoming cloudy, cooler than yesterday, rain develops during the early-to-mid afternoon hours, highs in the low 50's

Cloudy with rain likely during the evening hours, some fog possible late, chilly, lows near 40 degrees

Clouds and possible fog early then becoming partly sunny and very mild, afternoon highs near 60 degrees

Wednesday Night

Partly cloudy, turning colder, low 30’s

Mostly sunny, colder, near 50 degrees

Mostly cloudy, cold, chance for rain late in the day or at night, the rain could be mixed with sleet or snow for awhile at the onset, mid-to-upper 40’s

Mostly cloudy, cold, more rain likely, low-to-mid 40’s

Partly sunny, not as cold, upper 40’s

Clouds will dominate the skies today and this will cut temperatures a bit from yesterday and rain is likely later this afternoon into the evening. After a damp beginning, Wednesday will feature some clearing and temperatures will be quite mild in the afternoon with temperatures climbing towards the 60 degree mark. Much colder air will move into the Northeast US on Thursday anchored by strong high pressure and temperatures will turn noticeably cooler. It’ll stay quite chilly on Friday and another batch of moisture from the southern states will advance northward towards the I-95 corridor. The result should be rain by Friday night and continuing into Saturday and it could be just cold enough at the onset for some sleet or snow to be mixed in.
