7:00 AM | Threat for some rain tonight and Friday...weekend looking good

Paul Dorian

6-Day Philly Forecast

Sunshine followed by increasing clouds, pleasant, highs in the low 80's

Mostly cloudy skies, cool, chance for showers and thunderstorms, lows in the lower 60’s

Considerable cloudiness, cool, chance for some rain, maybe a thunderstorm; best chance for steady rain is from Philly south and east, near 80 degrees

Friday Night

Mostly cloudy, cool, showers possible early, low 60’s

Becoming mainly sunny, nice, low 80's

Mainly sunny, pleasantly warm, low-to-mid 80’s

Partly sunny, still comfortable temperatures, chance for showers and thunderstorms, low 80’s

Becoming cloudy, comfortably warm, good chance for showers and thunderstorms, low 80’s

Low pressure will ride along a boundary zone into the Mid-Atlantic coastal region over the next 24 hours or so and produce some rainfall along the way. It appears the steadiest, heaviest rain associated with this low pressure area will occur from around the immediate Philly metro region to areas south and east of there...not a nice day at all in southern New Jersey for example. Once the low pressure pushes off the east coast, high pressure will build back into the region and the weekend will turn out quite nice with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels.
