Discussion

High pressure across the Northeast US provided us with nice weather for the weekend and it’ll hold on for another day as we begin the new work week. By late tonight, a trough of low pressure will swing through the area with an isolated shower and thunderstorm and then a cold front arrives late tomorrow with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High pressure briefly regains control on Wednesday, but then low pressure will push in from the Ohio Valley on Thursday bringing with it occasional rain and possible thunderstorms. High pressure then returns for the end of the week and weekend.
