Discussion

The relentless Arctic cold weather pattern will continue through next week across much of the eastern half of the nation. A fast-moving “clipper” system will drop southeastward into the Mid-Atlantic region by tomorrow and its precipitation field should stay well to the north of here. However, this “clipper” system will usher in a fresh Arctic air mass for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and this will be an extremely cold stretch for much of the eastern US.
