Discussion

A much wetter patter has set up across Florida with deep moisture in place and we’ll keep the daily threat of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for the remainder of the week. Low-level south-to-southwest winds will continue to pump very moist air into central Florida setting us up for additional showers and thunderstorms. The drought conditions that became a problem during the past few months in the central part of the state will continue to improve noticeably moving forward given this rather persistent wetter weather pattern.
