Discussion

Strong low pressure will slowly push away from the Carolina coastline today and chilly air has dropped southward into Florida on the back side of this system. As a result, temperatures here will start off the week well below-normal for this time of year despite some sunshine for the next few days. The air mass will modify by the second half of the week and our high temperatures should climb back to the 70’s and there will be an increased chance for showers and thunderstorms.
