6-Day Cape Canaveral Forecast

Mainly cloudy, windy and not as warm, still the chance for showers, highs in the mid 60’s

Gradual clearing, windy, cold, lows in the upper 40’s

Mainly sunny, windy, chilly, near 60 degrees for afternoon highs

Saturday Night

Mainly clear, cold, mid 40’s for late night lows

Mainly sunny, still quite cool, near 65 degrees

Partly sunny, warmer, near 70 degrees

Mainly sunny, nice, low-to-mid 70’s

Partly sunny, warm, chance of showers, mid 70’s

Following yesterday’s very active day in Florida, colder air will pour into the region as strong low pressure pulls northward over the spine of the Appalachians. The winds will continue to be quite strong and there can be some lingering shower activity. Temperatures during the next couple of nights should drop into the 40’s – well below-normal for late December. The next 70 degree day looks like it’ll have to wait until early next week and we could be setting up for a very comfortable Christmas Day (Tuesday) with highs by then in the low-to-mid 70’s.
