Discussion
Broad trough of low pressure will shift eastward today to the eastern US and instability will rise around here increasing our chances for showers and thunderstorms. By tonight, a cool front will arrive in the area and our winds will turn to a northerly direction following its passage. As a result, temperatures will be shaved by about ten degrees or so as far as afternoon highs are concerned from 85 degrees today to around 75 degrees on Thursday.
