Discussion

Slow-moving sub-tropical low pressure over the Southeast US continues to result in deep layers of tropical moisture over Florida and in much of the eastern third of the nation. This will continue to result in occasional showers and thunderstorms across central Florida and the wet pattern is likely to last all the way into the first half of next week. Some of the rain will be heavy at times over the next couple of days and flash flooding concerns will continue.
