6-Day Philadelphia Forecast

A mix of clouds and sun, cool for this time of year, cannot rule out an afternoon shower in some spots, highs near 70 degrees

Partly cloudy, cool, lows in the low-to-mid 50’s

Mainly sunny, pleasant, mid 70’s for afternoon highs

Thursday Night

Partly cloudy, cool, upper 50's for overnight lows

Mainly sunny with some late day clouds, warmer, near 80 degrees; chance of showers and thunderstorms at night

Mainly cloudy, warm, chance of showers and thunderstorms, near 80 degrees

Becoming partly sunny, not quite as warm, showers still possible, mid 70’s

Mainly sunny, nice, mid-to-upper 70’s

A cold front passed through the region last night and high pressure will take control around here for the next couple of days resulting in overall nice weather conditions. Another cold front will approach the region on Friday and then likely stall out near here this weekend. Perhaps not surprisingly, the weekend is likely to become quite unsettled (once again) given the nearby frontal boundary zone and showers and thunderstorms are likely to threaten for at least part of the time. Strong high pressure to our north is likely to push the stalled out frontal boundary zone southward early next week resulting in improving weather conditions.
