Discussion

High pressure over the western Atlantic has expanded into our area and it will generate some sunshine around here each of the next several days along with very warm and humid conditions and a continuing shot at afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms. A new upper-level trough will form during the first half of next week over the Midwest and our low-level flow of air will remain southerly with enough moisture around to continue the daily threat of showers and thunderstorms.
