Discussion

An unusually strong upper-level trough will form this week over the Midwest and it’ll combine with strong high pressure ridging over the western Atlantic Ocean to pump tropical air from south-to-north along the eastern seaboard. Similar to last week’s pattern, this one will likely result in more soaking rainfall for much of the eastern third of the nation including the state of Florida.
