6-Day NYC Forecast

Mainly cloudy, still comfortable temperatures, chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, highs near 80 degrees

Mainly cloudy, mild, good chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of the rain can be heavy, lows in the lower 70’s

Partly sunny, a bit warmer, more humid, chance of showers and thunderstorms, but much of the time will be rain-free, mid 80’s for afternoon highs

Wednesday Night

Partly cloudy, turning cooler late, lower 60’s for overnight lows

Mainly sunny, pleasant, upper 70’s

Mainly sunny, comfortable, near 80 degrees

Mainly sunny, nice, lower 80’s

Mainly sunny, quite warm, more humid, mid 80’s

A northward-moving warm front will approach the region later today and this will combine with a vigorous eastward-moving upper-level system over the Great Lakes to increase the chances for showers and thunderstorms later today. That threat for showers and thunderstorms storms will continue tonight and on Wednesday as well as a cool front moves from the Ohio Valley to the eastern seaboard. The passage of the cool front will set the stage for a very nice stretch of weather here beginning Thursday and continuing right through the upcoming weekend - likely breaking the trend of our recent wet weekends. Temperatures and humidity levels later this week and into the early part of the weekend will remain at comfortable levels following a bit of a warm-up on Wednesday afternoon just ahead of the front. It turns hotter and more humid by early next week.
