Discussion

A ridge of high pressure continues to exist across the Southeast US and it’ll stay moist enough for in the lower levels of the atmosphere for scattered showers and storms over the next few days. The tropics remain relatively quiet but will be monitored closely as we are just now beginning to ramp up to the climatological peak of the Atlantic Basin tropical season (mid Sept).
