Discussion

A cool front will push towards the area later today and it is likely to generate scattered showers and thunderstorms for the I-95 corridor region later today and early tonight. Any rain that falls later today and tonight can be on the heavy side and some of the thunderstorms can be strong. This front will usher in somewhat less humid and slightly cooler air for tomorrow and Friday, but it’ll stall out not far to our southeast. Over the weekend, the stalled out boundary zone may be the conduit for a low pressure system which could result in some shower and thunderstorm activity around here on both weekend days and even into the early part of next week.
