6-Day NYC Forecast

Cloudy, milder than recent days, nothing more than a bit of light rain by day's end, highs in the lower 40’s

Evening showers will evolve into a steadier and heavier rain after midnight, heavy at times towards morning, becoming windy, temperatures to rise through the 40's in the overnight hours

Windy and unseasonably mild in the morning with rain, heavy at times, maybe even a rumble of thunder, turning colder later in the day with a stiff breeze, temperatures near 50 degrees early may drop to the 30's by the end of the day

Thursday Night

Becoming partly cloudy, cold, breezy, mid-to-upper 20’s for late night lows

Mainly sunny, quite cold, mid 30’s

Mainly sunny, still quite cold, upper 20’s

Increasing clouds, cold, snow showers possible, upper 30’s

Mainly cloudy, cold, mid-to-upper 30’s

Heavy rain is on the way for the I-95 corridor in the time period from late tonight until early tomorrow afternoon. Milder air will surge northward along the eastern seaboard in the overnight hours and any evening rain activity will become steadier and heavier after midnight as temperatures slowly rise and winds pick up out of the southeast. Windy and unseasonably mild conditions will start the day on Thursday along with heavy rain at times, maybe even a rumble of thunder. Much colder air returns late tomorrow following the passage of a strong cold front and the 50 degrees early in the day will likely transition to the 30's by late in the day. It'll be quite cold on Friday and Saturday despite plenty of sunshine each day with temperatures well below-normal for this time of year.
