6-Day forecast for the Philadelphia metro region

Mostly cloudy today and still on the cool side, spotty light rain or drizzle this morning, a few showers are likely this afternoon, highs in the mid-to-upper 50's

Mainly cloudy, chilly, a lingering shower possible early, lows in the lower 40’s

Becoming mainly sunny, milder, mid 60’s for afternoon highs

Wednesday Night

Mainly cloudy with a chance of showers, cool, lower 50's for overnight lows

Partly sunny, mild, cannot rule out a shower, upper 60's

Mainly cloudy, mild, chance of showers, near 70 degrees

Mainly sunny, warmer, mid-to-upper 70’s

Partly sunny, quite warm, near 80 degrees

The steady rain is over, but it’ll remain unsettled today as upper-level low pressure only grudgingly pulls away from the area. As a result, there will be lots of clouds around and a few showers are likely mainly in the afternoon hours. High pressure will build into the area tonight and Wednesday promises to be a milder day with some sunshine. Another frontal system will come our way tomorrow night and it can be accompanied by a few showers and another front may result in the same on Friday. Warmer weather is likely this weekend with a run at 80 degrees possible by Sunday afternoon.
