Mainly cloudy, warm, showers likely; especially, later in the day, maybe a thunderstorm, lower 70’s for afternoon highs

Saturday Night

Periods of rain, maybe a thunderstorm, mild, some of the rain can be heavy at times, mid 50’s for overnight lows

Periods of rain, cooler, some of the AM rain can be heavy at times, near 60 degrees

Mainly sunny, nice, near 70 degrees

Mainly sunny, comfortable, lower 70’s

Partly sunny, warm, chance of showers, upper 60’s

A back door cool front has passed through the region once again and today will turn out cooler than yesterday with some light rain or drizzle this morning and an afternoon shower or thunderstorm is possible. Showers and thunderstorms are possible again tonight as a cold front arrives in the region and this front will then stall in the Mid-Atlantic this weekend. Low pressure will pull out of the Tennessee Valley on Saturday and ride along the stalled out boundary zone and right towards the Mid-Atlantic region. As a result, more rain is likely here from late tomorrow into Sunday afternoon and some of it can be heavy at times; especially, in the overnight hours. Nicer weather will return early next week as high pressure follows the departing weekend low pressure system.
