6-Day forecast for the Philadelphia metro region

Mainly cloudy this morning, partly sunny this afternoon, quite warm, humid, becoming breezy, highs in the mid-to-upper 80’s

Becoming mainly clear, mild, lows in the mid-to-upper 60’s

Mainly sunny, very warm, upper 80's for afternoon highs

Wednesday Night

Partly cloudy, mild, muggy, upper 60’s for overnight lows

Mainly sunny, hot, humid, lower 90's

Mainly sunny, hot, humid, lower 90's; an isolated shower or thunderstorm at night

Partly sunny, hot, humid, chance of showers and thunderstorms, near 90 degrees

Mainly sunny, not quite as warm, mid 80’s

Showers and thunderstorms associated with a warm frontal passage will pull away this morning from the coastline and some sunshine will return to the area this afternoon to go along with very warm and humid conditions. The second half of the week will feature the first extended stretch of summer weather so far this year in the Mid-Atlantic region with high temperatures near the 90 degree mark tomorrow and then in the 90's on Thursday and Friday. A couple of weak disturbances this weekend could bring a return of showers and thunderstorms to the Mid-Atlantic region and it should turn slightly cooler early next week.
