Discussion

High pressure ridging over the western Atlantic will be the dominant player this weekend producing a low-level onshore flow of air into central Florida. This type of wind flow will push high moisture levels into the area and this will lead to an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms as we progress into the weekend. With the increase in moisture there will be more clouds around this weekend and that will help to shave a few degrees off of high temperatures across central Florida compared to recent days.
