7:00 AM | *Another unsettled day with the chance of showers and storms*

Paul Dorian

Unsettled weather will continue here today as a progressive upper-level flow of air will bring another disturbance our way which will continue the threat for showers and thunderstorms. 7:00 AM | An unsettled week with multiple shots at showers...maybe a few thunderstorms as well

Paul Dorian

This looks like quite an unsettled week across much of Florida with multiple shots at showers and a few thunderstorms can mix in as well. The upper air flow across Florida will be rather zonal (i.e., west-to-east) in coming days and this will allow for numerous disturbances to push in our direction. In addition, deep moisture will surge northward for the second half of the week as east-to-southwest winds develop following the passage of a northward-moving frontal system.

7:00 AM | Some 15 degrees cooler than yesterday following frontal passage

Paul Dorian

This looks like more of an unsettled week weather-wise across much of Florida compared to last week’s warm and generally rain-free stretch of weather and today will begin much cooler than yesterday. The upper air flow across Florida will be rather zonal (i.e., west-to-east) in coming days and this will allow for weak disturbances to push in our direction. Later in the week, deep layer moisture may return to the area increasing our chances for showers during much of the second half of the week.

7:00 AM | *Very warm weather for this time of year continues into the weekend*

Paul Dorian

A persistent area of high pressure over the Bahamas will continue to result in warm weather across Florida with highs at or above 80 degrees today and this weekend. A weak front has stalled in the area and has enhanced chances for scattered showers and this threat will continue through the weekend. The high pressure ridging in the upper part of the atmosphere will weaken some later this weekend and will allow for a frontal passage resulting in cooler conditions for the early part of next week.
