Discussion

Low pressure to the west and high pressure to the east will lead to continued cool weather here in southern California with late night and early morning coastal fog a good possibility each of the next few days that will be followed by some afternoon clearing skies. A cooling trend will begin by mid-week as the overall pattern for the west coast remains quite persistent with normal to below-normal temperatures. For the month so far, the LA Airport is averaging almost two degrees below normal and that temperature trend will continue for much of this week as well.
