Discussion

There is good news, bad news and then more good news about the weather for the next few days. First off, today will be a beautiful day to enjoy a Phillies afternoon game or to do anything outdoors with very comfortable conditions. Tomorrow, however, will turn into a scorcher and there will be possible late day or evening strong-to-severe thunderstorms. Temperatures on Thursday will soar to the mid and upper 90's, but then the final bit of good news is that temperatures will trend downward for the weekend to much more seasonal levels. This topsy-turvy weather is being caused by a frontal system that passed through the region last night as a cool front, but it'll stall to our south today and then return northward tomorrow as a warm front.
