Discussion

An upper level high pressure ridge will move across the region and the overall flow in the upper atmosphere will be quite zonal (west-to-east). This pattern will keep the region dry with no precipitation in sight and temperatures will be quite moderate as Arctic air will be blocked by the zonal flow from moving this far south over the next several days.
