Discussion

A weak trough of low pressure will bring some added moisture to the region today, but the chances for rain will be somewhat limited due to the continuing impact here by the strong ridge of high pressure over the western Atlantic. On Friday, however, and continuing into early next week, an even more moist flow of air from the east will enhance our chances for showers and thunderstorms across central Florida and a weak frontal system will stall out nearby as well.
