Discussion

Following yesterday’s rainfall and frontal passage, weak high pressure will push into the region to close out the work week. Another area of low pressure will push into the area over the weekend from the southeastern part of the country producing additional rain and thunderstorms later tomorrow morning into Sunday and some of the rain can be on the heavy side. High pressure will return to the Mid-Atlantic region early next week and it'll dominate the weather scene through at least the middle of next week. Temperatures throughout the next several days will stay quite comfortable with no 90 degree highs in sight.
