High pressure ridging will extend from the Gulf of Mexico to the western Atlantic over the next few days and this system will keep our weather rather nice with daily highs near 80 degrees. Later in the week, a wave of energy will head our way from Texas and this system will enhance our chances for showers and thunderstorms as we head towards the weekend.
