Partly cloudy, cool, lows in the mid-to-upper 50’s

Friday Night

Partly cloudy, mild, lower 60’s for overnight lows

Mainly sunny, quite warm, cannot rule out a shower or thunderstorm, mid 80’s

Mostly sunny, hot, near 90 degrees

Mainly sunny, hot, humid, low-to-mid 90’s

Mainly sunny, hot, humid, low-to-mid 90’s

It’ll stay on the cool side of normal for another day, but big changes are coming to the Mid-Atlantic region. A dramatic warm up will begin this weekend and set us up for a hot, humid stretch from Monday through Wednesday of next week. Temperatures should hold in the 70’s today for highs, climb to near 80 degrees on Friday, mid 80’s on Saturday, and then reach the 90 degree mark by Sunday afternoon. During the first half of next week temperatures will likely climb into the 90’s and summer-like humidity will make its presence felt in the DC metro region.
