Discussion
A strong high pressure ridge is centered across the western Atlantic Ocean and it’ll pump in moist air across the Tennessee Valley. An upper-level trough over the Great Plains will shift slowly eastward over the next couple days and this combined with the high moisture content in the current air mass will result in a good chance of showers and thunderstorms for the area for much of the week.
